Formatting Lyrics

This will help you to correctly format lyrics before you import it to speed things up on the ProPresenter side.

Instructions

When you are preparing the lyrics to be imported, you want to clean it up and delete repeating lines. It is much easier to format the lyrics in a word document editor then in ProPresenter.

You don't want any repeating sections before you import it. This will help reduce having spelling mistakes in multiple places.

Groups

// Don't import this:
Verse 1
Chrous
Verse 2
Chorus
Verse 3
Chorus

// Import this:
Verse 1
Chorus
Verse 2
Verse 3

You would also want to add group labels before each section.

Spacing

Only have two lines per slide, if you have a third line, just move it into a separate slide

If you copy and paste something from the internet, delete any extra spaces at the end of the line and you might have to hit enter after each line to make sure everything is formatted correctly when you import it.
